Baby, It's cold outside!

Today is one of the first cold nippy late fall days here [South Carolina].  Forecasters are predicting it won't get out of the high 40's.  This is some of my fave weather because I get to accessorize with warm snugly cozy winter fashions!

Trend Alert!!! "Flasses"

Since when is "geek-chic" a trend?  A surge in sales of "fake glasses" or "fashion eye glasses", popularly called "flasses" have designers and consumers jumping on the band wagon. An article published in The Globe and Mail  states that "a growing number of college and university grads who are entering the work world are using the non-prescription glasses to polish off a professional look and score a strong first impression on their boss and colleagues" and that "they must be smart because they wear glasses".  Is this [stereotype] true?  Do we pass judgment on adults sporting spectacles - that they are smarter, more professional, and in general more put-together than their non-glasses counterparts?  Whether true or not, seems to be the trend!  There is nothing wrong with accessorizing yourself smarter ;)
